Letters, memos, statements, booklets, and articles. The majority of the collection is letters to constituents in response to their remarks on certain legislation or current event. These cover a variety of topics including the Viet Nam War, aid to private schools and the Equal Rights Amendment. The memos are written reports to be sent to selected political supporters. Two booklets written by Coulson: "How to be a Republican" and " Illinois in the 1970's". Copies of two articles written by Coulson in 1964.
